We measure the mass of an object by measuring the weight of the object.
The standard unit of measurement of mass is Kilograms.
1000 gms = 1 Kgm
For e.g. The weight of a cricket bat is 750 gms. This means the mass of the bat is 750 gms.
Weighing scales or balance scales are used to measure the mass or weight of an object.
