Hydrogen is the first element in the periodic table as its atomic number is 1.
Hydrogen has properties similar to that of Alkali metals and Halogens.
Hydrogen was discovered by Henry Cavendish. Hydrogen is prepared by displacement reaction of metals. In laboratory hydrogen is prepared by the action of sulphuric acid on zinc.
We'll learn more about the chemical properties of hydrogen : combustibility, action on litmus, action with oxygen, chlorine gas, metallic oxide ,uses and tests for hydrogen
